Dr. Marina Johnson, ND, LAc
Seattle Integrative Naturopathic Doctor and Acupuncturist
My passion is teaching people about their bodies and empowering them in their quest towards a vital mind, spirit and body.
I believe that all people are designed and capable of functioning optimally and harmoniously, and that the key to achieving this is unique to each person. I strongly believe in treating people holistically and individually, by taking the time to get to know them and leaving no stone unturned. My additional training in Chinese Medicine, 5 elements, functional lab testing, environmental medicine, Parkinson’s disease and hormone replacement therapy allows me to identify and bring harmony to physical and emotional imbalances, while always supporting each individuals’ inherent constitution.

My Path to Holistic Healing Arts
As long as I can remember I was always drawn to abstract thinking, problem solving and thinking outside the box; for this reason, I thought I was going to pursue a path in architecture and art. I quickly realized that while creativity was a passion of mine, I loved working with people rather than drawing boards and developed a fascination in the sciences and human body.
There was not a more intriguing puzzle than that of the human body and mind and I began to explore this in myself and loved ones, ultimately leading me towards my path in biology and medicine. I quickly became disheartened by the reductionistic nature of conventional medicine and watching people’s overall health deteriorate despite ‘treatment’. These missing pieces were restored for me when I found Naturopathic Medicine and Eastern Medicine.
Through a chance of fate, I found Holistic Healing Arts while still in school and spend the last couple years of my education shadowing several of the doctors, inspired by their innovative genius, excited by the complex cases, and moved by witnessing the patients’ transformation.
I am thrilled and honored to join the team here at Holistic Healing Arts. As it turns out, art takes many forms, some of which are much more than just pretty to look at.
“Words can not express the gratitude and respect I have for Dr. Marina and the staff that supports her.”
“I loved that she was personable and very knowledgeable. After my very first visit I could feel the change in my entire body. My knee no longer hurt the knot in my neck melted almost a third of the size allowing more movement and less migraines. After my third visit the knot is less than a quarter of the original size no migraines. I had to sign myself and my son up so Dr. Marina can be our new ND. — J.W., Shoreline, WA

“ I definitely feel that she is evaluating me as a whole, rather than just one symptom”
“I have been working with Dr. Johnson for about 5 months now. During this time I have been able to come completely off of anti-depressants. She worked with me to get through a really hard emotional time, where I thought I might have to go back on them. She did not give up, even when I thought I might give up.”
